I was born in Kondrovo, USSR in 1966, living in Obninsk, Russia since 1972.
When I was a school-boy I got hooked on photography, on how the picture is appearing in the darkroom, played with developers, films, and stuff. My first camera was my parents Zorky-4, later I got Zenith-E. Went to a photo-studio, participated in group exhibitions.
Since 2010, I participated in the local photo-festivals "The art of seeing the world" in Maloyaroslavets, "Photoparade" in Uglich, and was marked with awards.
In 2012, my attention was drawn by international photo salons organized in various countries of the world under patronages of FIAP, PSA, and other communities resulting in more than 50 countries seen my works and as of today can count more than 100 medals and ribbons from 20+ countries of the world received to my address.
In 2014, got my AFIAP followed by EFIAP in 2015.
Besides FIAP, I am a member of local Russian Creative Union PhotoArt.
