I am a self-taught photographer with over 15 years experience shooting in and around New York City, where I have lived for over 30 years. I learned my craft with film – transparencies primarily – and then transitioned into digital in 2006. I am drawn to patterns and textures. Many of my photographs are inspired by the work of painters: Abstract-Expressionists (e.g., Pollock and Rothko) and Impressionists (e.g., Monet and Seurat).
