I think i'd have to say that I'm a walker.
The perks of what walking means to us as human beings have been recorded by everyone from Thoreau to Rebecca Solnit, and here's my bit of why bipedal mobility is my most preferred activity.
In walking, there's a presence. I am fully attentive to myself and to everything around me. The light, the shadows, and everything in between- human activity, human interactions, activities of birds and animals, intricate details of what it means to be earthlings.
Thinking back, i look at myself as much observer as i am participant, and walking fuels the observer in me. With my preferred tool, the camera, i try to capture what i see, and how i see..
