Hi. My name is Elena.
Ever since I was a little girl, I've perceived the world primarily visually. I used to look around and wonder what that person next to me was about. What does she/he like? What kind of drink does she/he have for breakfast? Tea, сoffee or juice? How does she/he like to spend time? Based on what I thought fit best to that one person, I put in my head all the pieces together into a personality.
What does photography have to do with it, you might think?
Photography has always been about sealing the moment for me, but also about storytelling. And that's what all my pictures are about. Stories.
Real and fictional, about love and hate, happiness and loneliness, warmth and cold. About that man at the table in the cafe across the street and that girl with emerald-colored eyes.
