Elinore (Liebersohn) Koenigsfeld , born in Washington, DC, graduated from the The American University with a BFA with honors. She much later completed a MSPC in Communications from Clark University.
In 1970, Elinore came to live in Israel, continuing art studies with renowned sculptor Rudi Lehmann. Extensive teaching of art has
included the Tel Aviv Artists' Union and Levinski College in Tel Aviv.
After many one-person shows of paintings in Israel and USA, an installation in The Jewish Museum in DC was also shown in Israel. Most recently, "Meldings" in the Jerusalem Theater Gallery showed images created by digital layering of photographs of sculptures, paintings, and photographs from nature.
She has also illustrated several children's books, created educational software, published poetry and made artwork for permanent museum exhibitions.
Elinore is married and lives in Kiryat Ono, near Tel Aviv.
