Elinore (Liebersohn) Koenigsfeld was born in Washington, DC and graduated from the The American University with a BFA with honors; she later completed a MSPC in Communications from Clark University.
In 1970, Elinore came to Israel, where she continued art studies with the renowned sculptor Rudi Lehmann.
She has taught art extensively, including at the Tel Aviv Artists' Union and the Levinski College in Tel Aviv, and judged many shows.
She has had many one-person shows of paintings in Israel and USA, an installation in The Jewish Museum in DC. and at three venues in Israel. Most recently, she showed "Meldings" in the Jerusalem Theater Gallery: pictures that are digital layering of photographs of sculptures, paintings, and photographs from nature.
She has illustrated several children's books, created educational software, published poetry and made artwork for permanent museum exhibitions,
Elinore is married and lives in Kiryat Ono, near Tel Aviv.
