Elliott Fuerniss (b. 1992) is an Atlanta, GA based photographer. His work raises inquiry into the nature of memory and decay by photographing urban and suburban landscapes throughout the American South. By photographing places of personal significance within the region, Fuerniss engages his own lived experiences in order to further examine how identity is perpetually altered by the latency of memory.
