1979-1986 I studied at the İstanbul Lisesi, a German-Turkish highschool where I became the photographer of the scouts group. This was my first experience of being a photographer and realized that the camera was like some sort of a pass to let the photographer to be present at just about anything as an observer/visitor and I liked this.
1986 – 1987 I spent a year in the U.S. as an AFS Exchange student and had chances to learn more about photography and dark-room.
1992 - Graduated as an industrial engineer from the Yildiz University in Istanbul, besides working as an engineer I worked in
2002 - 2004 as a professional advertisement photographer.
I live an work in Istanbul.
