I'm doing relational photography
I started to take pictures at the age of 8 and already then, very quickly, I realized that photography is an image and an attempt to write down the most important thing we want to keep: being, relationships, emotions, life.
Somethimes one photograph can be helpful in establishing, renewing or recalling bonds, also between generations.
Somethimes one picture may be more helpful in social diagnosis than many descriptions - but only if both parties are aware of the consequences of the publication and work together.
I am the author of the project (research task) Katowicka Fotografia Obywatelska (Civic Photography of Katowice) and the book exhibition about 12 women from Katowice: The Open Book.
