About Fabio Gori

I started with a disposable film istamatic in 1971. Those memories of the sea with the family. They gave me a Minolta when I was 14, a Christmas present. I threw away a lot of rolls, they were never enough, I liked photographing lizards. Photography has always fascinated me. The movement to rewind the film, the wait before seeing the contact sheets and understanding if the photo was successful just as you imagined it, the disappointment or joy at having achieved that kind of miracle ... or "stopping" time!
Then the advent of digital ... the change of mentality, the ability to shoot practically indefinitely and to modify the photo to upset its very essence ...
Now I feel in my world when I hold my Sony in my hands, I try to do my best.
It is not yet time to say enough!
