I currently work between UK, Italy and Benin (Africa) as a freelance photographer.
With about a ten years background in the design area, I dedicate my work to documentary photography and events, and, in recent years I’ve been covering humanitarian and social issues.
I also collaborate with NGOs by participating in humanitarian missions in several West African countries, documenting their activities both on health and social issues. These experiences have also been documented through the publication of a book and the realisation of a photographic exhibition.
In early 2016 I ran my first solo exhibition, a black & white photo essay illustrating in portraits and landscape photographs the dual existence of Africa's beauties and its contradictions.
At the moment, I am working on a long-term project focusing on mental health issues and rehabilitation in the Republic of Benin, Ivory Coast, Togo and Burkina Faso.
