23 years old. I am a fifth year medicine student in Florence.
I concentrate the most on analogue photography. I started my reserach and my approach to analogue photography with colour films, but it did not satisfy me entirely. I liked the colours, I liked the romantic tones and the lights on the film, but I could not have the control on the entire process.
The fact is, that analogue does not simply concern in taking pictures with a camera. It's a process that starts before shootig, whith chosing a camera and pair it up with a specific film, for obtaining the effect you have in mind. Then there is the post-shooting: the entire obscure chamber process. Analogue photography is scientific, it's a scientific way to make art. I shoot on black and white films, this allows me to have the control on everything, mostly on Ilford delta 3200, because I like the grain. I bought a second-hand enlarger, I studied a lot of books of "fine art" and I builded my obscure chamber in my apartment.
