Federico Roscioli, born in 1984, is an Italian freelance photographer based in Rome. His works, personal medium/long term projects, focus principally on the deepening of topical social issues, faced with an anthropological approach. The feature that distinguishes it, in fact, lies in telling his stories focusing attention on the man as a social actor and doing so through the use of photography and video documentary.
The passion for photography is transmitted from the father, well-known photographer in Rome, of which he was assistant and from whom he learned the basic techniques of a professional photographer. In his life he has experience in swimming, as an athlete and coach, he worked in the field of graphic design and web design.
He holds a Master's degree in Photojournalism at the Higher Institute of Photography and Integrated Communication (ISFCI) in Rome, he studied International Cooperation and Development at the University La Sapienza in Rome. He lived in Miami and Brazil. He speaks Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
