About Felix Palmero

I am a 22 years old Cuban man that grew up in a very modest family in Las Tunas, Cuba. I live now in Havana. Because of my will to express myself in an artistic way, my boyfriend offered me a camera and I followed photography lessons at the "Escuela De Fotografia Creativa De La Habana". The Havana youth is very creative and needs to express their identiti(e)s, we are craving for freedom in an enclosed country. I am trying to be the witness of the reality of our world here. I am still very young and my passion for photography is only at its start. I organized an unofficial and unauthorized photos exhibition in my apartment during the Havana Biennial earlier this year. A French art charity organization have selected a few of my pictures and for the very first time my work will be shown in an official exhibition, in Toulouse (France) in November and December 2019. I am very excited by this incredible opportunity.
