Flavio Rosa is an Australian Fremantle based photographer originally from Brazil who has been developing his work as a photographer in WA for the past 10 years. His main project exhibited a couple of times already at the Kulcha Arts Centre, Frozen, portrays actual photographs that have been frozen. By working with the bubbles formed just before the water freezes, Rosa, intervenes in the photograph reaching visually enriching results. In his latest exhibition, “Astral Flowers”, Flavio uses similar techniques, this time, freezing the actual object to be photographed. "Life is beautiful" is his motto.
