I use the photo camera as a medium instead of the paintbrush,  hence the concept of photographic painting.
My approach is to cut out of the natural and urban landscape the canvas for my painting, which is essentially abstract in the sense that it refers to contemporary painting. It reveals the beauty of the world of shapes and colours that evoke reverie, poetic imagination and lyricism, a form of visual meditation that invites contemplation on the richness of life in all its forms.

This approach is classified by theme, with abstraction in all its forms - lyrical, poetic, geometric, minimalist, or as poor art - as an essential element. The themes covered are: skies and clouds, rocks, urban or natural floors and  walls, microscopic elements in earth, water, wood & metal. 

My essential message is to look around you and discover that contemporary art is everywhere in the natural & urban environment, in the universe. It's a question of an enriching outside view. It's up to each of us to detect a part of it.

All my photographic painting are a means of depicting an image that does not  have systematically an immediate association with the object world. It can isolate a fragment in order to create something unreal from a real object.

My own main purpose is to convey a feeling, a sensation or an impression who put you in a different post of view. It draws away from natural appearances and recognisable subjects in the actual world & sometime make ambiguity between macroscopic & microscopic view or the real scale of the view who can be discover as an abstract landscape who stimulate our own imagination.

Rather than documenting scenes, I cut out fragments of the natural and urban landscape—clouds, fields, pavements, frozen surfaces, rusted metal, cracked walls, moss, microscopic textures—and treat them as my canvas.

Through close framing and abstraction, familiar subjects lose their scale and function and reappear as fields of colour, light and texture.

My images are organised by themes such as skies and clouds, rocks, urban and natural floors and walls, winter snow, microscopic elements in earth, water, wood and metal.

Within these territories I explore many forms of abstraction: lyrical, poetic, geometric, minimalist and sometimes approaching arte povera in their attention to humble, “poor” materials.

A cloudbank can become a monumental sculpture, a plowed field a drawing of pure rhythm, a snow shadow an ink wash, a rust stain an entire cosmos.

What interests me is the moment when reality becomes ambiguous—when you no longer know if you are looking at something huge or microscopic, near or far, solid or ephemeral.

By isolating and recomposing these fragments, I try to reveal an abstract poetry that is already present in the world, rather than invented in the studio.

The work invites a slow, meditative gaze: to feel texture with the eyes, to follow lines and veils of light, and to let associations and memories rise to the surface.

Ultimately, my essential message is simple: contemporary art is everywhere, if we learn to see it.

A crack, a cloud, a stain on the pavement can be as rich as any painted canvas.

Through photographic painting, I invite viewers to shift their point of view, to discover beauty in the margins and to experience the everyday environment as a continuous, living exhibition.The relationship between contemporary art and everyday environmental reality in nature (the 5 elements) and in the urban environment, especially forgotten, dirty, uninteresting, damaged, dilapidated, destroyed places, worn, the source of inspiration is inexhaustible when the eye is attentive while moving.
