Artist and photographer in search of positive stories. Recurring themes of her works are places, space, the relationship with time and memory. Archival images and texts, familiar and traditional stories, the use of natural light, matter, transparencies, her worlds. Always in search of new media for express herself, she recently investigates embroidery and sewing and the relationship between human being and nature, through the use of mixed techniques with leaves, stones, shells and threads. She is also fascinated by ancient media of communication and language, such as Morse code, on which she is working on a new project. In 2018 she worked as curator for the Edmondo Bernacca Weather Museum. Her photographic works were published on D Repubblica, Mare Magazine, Photo Vogue, Harper's Bazaar Art China and others. She exhibited at MACRO Museo, Ragusa Foto Festival, Fondazione Fotografia Modena. She lives between Palermo and Rome.
