Gaël CLOAREC is a 46-year-old French freelance photojournalist based in Brittany. In 2016, he graduated from the Ecole des Métiers et de l'Information in Paris (EMI-CFD) and was a finalist for the Paris Match student prize. In 2018, he was selected by the Brittany Press Club to exhibit his work on the crisis of the Southern Sudanese refugees in the Rennes metro subway. That same year, he was also selected to take part in the "reporting in dangerous areas" training course given by France médias in Bayeux during the war correspondents' festival. In 2019, he is laureate in the category social documentary / state of the world .
