Garrick Dorsett holds an MFA in Studio Arts at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 2017 where he also, received his BFA in Fine Art Photography in 1999. He holds the position of Coordinator of Graphic and Interactive Design/Photography at Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg (NASAD), Pennsylvania since 2002. He also holds an adjunct faculty position at Harrisburg Area Community College where he teaches Photography. His work is represented by 1975 gallery in New York, as well as the Metropolis Collective in Pennsylvania. He has exhibited in various venues including the Philadelphia Museum Art Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Print Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Exit Art in New York, New York, the Rochester Contemporary Art Center, Rochester, New York and has been Published in Thrasher Magazine, Photography Monthly (Korea), Only Harrisburg Magazine, and Far magazine (Indonesia).
Garrick resides in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, with his wife and daughter. He continues to develop as a Husband, Father, Artist, Educator and Outdoors enthusiast. In addition he makes up one half of the collaboration duo known as The Huckle Buckle Boys Along with longtime friend and fellow artist Zack Rudy. The duo pushes the boundaries of collaboration and focus on the “Flow Experience” as mixed media artists.
