I'm a 28-year-old photographer from London and I am now based in New York. I fell for photography when I got my first camera at 13, and knew it was all I wanted to do by 16 - spending every lunch break in the darkroom at school. I adored photographing people - capturing real moments and watching them come together under red lights.
For several years I worked as a photographer within the fashion industry, shooting documentary style images of both models and street cast subjects. I shot stories using daylight and focused on candid moments to try and bring a sense of authenticity to each editorial and commission. I worked as Editor for the fashion/art magazine Boys by Girls and saw it progress from a small book project to an internationally distributed publication and pop-up gallery exhibit. I shot for magazines including i-D, Wonderland, Dazed & Confused and TANK, and clients such as Urban Outfitters and Superdry.
Several years ago I decided to pursue the avenue of photography that I truly loved and let go of the fashion industry; I now focus on photo-documentary and portrait stories of subjects that inspire me to pick up my camera.
I am currently working on several photo documentary projects both in London and New York, and work with Getty Images Creative as a Contributor.
