Im a Costarican photographer based in New York, graduated from the legendary Cinecitta Studios in Rome, my background is rooted in cinematography and visual storytelling; Im blessed with a profound understanding of composition, lightining and the art of capturing moments. From 2010 to 2018 I served as a photo editor for Costa Rica’s La Republica demostraiting my comprehension of the editorial process and ability to curate impactful visual narratives. Honored with the 2016 Washington DC Photoweek Fontagro Award and more recently; graduated from the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism program at the prestigious International Center of Photography with my long term project Hit the Lights (Around the Underground) an exploration on the undeground music scene in New York City.
