Gilliard Lach was born in Blumenau (Brazil). He always nurtured an affair with photography that never went beyond a hobby, sometimes more enthusiastic, sometimes forgotten. Professionally, he ended up as an expert in brain research (a scientist) and once in a while used to take nice shots from a cool microscope. Things changed more recently when he decided to dedicate more time to his main art, photography.
I now allow part of my time to explore the streets of my city as well as I always have I camera ready when I am walking on a foreign street as well as taking small commissioned projects.
