Giorgio Morra (b. 1988) is a German photographer with Italian blood on his veins. He graduated from Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Media.
During his studies he travelled to different nations in Europe and Asia, looking for stories, focusing on people, documenting their routines and values. Morra’s honesty in life is reflected on his photographs; this way to deal with persons is his trademark.
His work has been exhibited in Berlin, Frankfurt, Poland; in Italy he has participated in the Savigniano Immagini Festival of Photography.
With his last story, ‘Eternal Fascism’, he tries to show one of the many dualisms the country has, reflecting the constant fight against prejudice, the dilemma between our heritage and our aspirations.
Currently he is based in Germany as freelance photographer.
