Born and raised in Milan, Italy, I became seduced with the Balkans/post-Yugoslav countries in 2015 during a road-trip, after which I decided to move for a few months to Belgrade, Serbia. I then took my passion to the academic level. In 2018, I eventually graduated in Balkan Studies with a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Bologna. Since 2015, I have been living for shorter and longer periods in different countries - Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo as of 2019.
I have always enjoyed photography but, ever since I left Italy, it has turned into the one and only language I know of to better understand and process the reality around me.
