Grant Gill completed his BFA in photography from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2013. His convictions in magic have followed him to adulthood, becoming the cornerstone to most of his work. Using photography, his stories reveal the fragile states of reality, and embrace the onset of happenings.
Grant is an emerging artist based in Milwaukee, WI, and is an editorial assistant for LENSCRATCH. He was formerly an Assistant Registrar for the Haggerty Museum of Art, working on photography exhibitions, such as Dark Blue: Water as Protagonist. He has shown in the Emerging Artist Gallery at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, and in various group shows in the Midwest and East Coast.
