Digital photography enables fresh approaches like the first paint brushes or silver chemistry did. But vision and emotion are more important than novelty, so I blend classical rigor with 21st century digital processing to amplify a vision.
We already see in very high resolution, with dynamic range no technology can match, so I do not try to replicate daily visual experience. I construct “what if” images to create something “other,” using digital tools to create a look at another world, tapping into dreams.
My work has been shown in the Center for Photographic Art online gallery (Carmel CA 2018), Las Lagunas Gallery (Laguna Beach, CA 2019 & online 2020), d’Art Center (Norfolk VA, 2019), and the Allan Clapp Gallery (Raleigh NC, 2020); I have shown pseudonymously in erotic photography exhibits in San Francisco (2017), London (2018 & 2019), Miami (2019) and Seattle (2019 & 2020) and have a BA in Visual Art and Computer Science from New York University.
