I studied in University UFRJ in Rio de Janeiro, and quit in the third year, went to EUA, and studied Photography in New Englad School of Photography in 1977, came back to Brazil , started working as a freelance photographer , then I migrated to cinematography, and I work mainly as a director of photography, since 88 in long feature films and documentaries.
