About Guy Harris

I am largely a self-taught photographer and enthusiastic amateur. After all of my analogue equipment was stolen aged 22, I had a hiatus of almost twenty years before picking up a camera again. I started off with a low entry DSLR and began to familiarise myself with what I had known as well as how to work a digital camera. My pictures naturally gravitate to street and documentary photography. I knew that when I was a young man taking photos as I do now, many years on. Although one day I would like to make some money from my photography my desire is more to continue capturing the weird and wonderful, pictures and portraits of people on the street. The more offbeat the better. This is partly why I shoot and present my work as StrangeDaze.
