I am a photographer based in Washington state. I adore black and white photography, but embrace color when it is an important part of the story. I'm inspired by everyday people and the things that matter to them... Environmental portraits are my passion. Photography has allowed me to connect with strangers in meaningful ways. I like to go slow, to spend time in a place and let the story and its characters reveal itself. When possible, I will spend time with the people I photograph to understand them better and make photos that capture a bit of their story, who they are.
