Helen Glazer produces photographs and photo-based sculptures that explore landscapes that are overlooked or difficult to access, illuminating the interacting forces affecting environments and ecosystems. Glazer premiered her project "Walking in Antarctica" in a 2017-18 solo show at Goucher College, Baltimore. Beginning in 2022, the show will travel the US under the auspices of ExhibitsUSA (eusa.org). Two photos from the project have been displayed at 7 x 10 feet as part of a rotating exhibition at Baltimore-Washington International Airport since 2017. Her Antarctica archive is housed at the Center for Art + Environment at the Nevada Museum of Art, Reno, where it is displayed through summer 2020 with a work of hers they purchased. Glazer has been selected as the next artist-in-residence at the Cary Institute for Ecological Studies, Millbrook, NY, and has received a Rubys Artist Award from the Robert W. Deutsch Foundation to fund a photography project in Greenland in summer 2021.
