Helen Glazer is an artist based in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, producing photographs and photo-based sculptures that explore landscapes that are often overlooked or difficult to access. She exhibited her Antarctica project in a 2017-18 solo show at Goucher College, Baltimore, Maryland, called "Walking in Antarctica," funded with project grants from the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance and Puffin Foundation. Two photos from the project have been displayed at 7 x 10 feet at BWI Marshall Airport in 2017-18. Recent group shows include Site: Brooklyn Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; Ann Street Gallery, Newburgh, NY; the New York Hall of Science; Baltimore's Artscape festival; and the Delaware Museum of Art. She has been interviewed for the Vice Media Creators Project and Atlas Obscura websites, on Baltimore's NPR news station, and numerous Baltimore publications. She was a 2017 finalist for the Trawick Prize, a major regional award, and had a solo show at Nailya Alexander Gallery, NYC, in 2012.
