Helena Falabino is an italo-argentinian photographer born in 1988. After the
completion of her studies in Design, she moved to Berlin in 2010 where she
had different jobs and studied photography at Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie
und Gestaltung, where she graduated in 2015 with the project Rede mit uns, a
series of portraits and interviews of self-determined sex workers. In 2016 she worked as a press officer for the Torino Jazz Festival and later as an editorial intern for GUP Magazine, an international quarterly on photographic arts based in Amsterdam. At the moment she works as a guide in the National Museum of Cinema in Torino and collaborates with an organization that promotes photojournalism, Eikòn, for which she curates the blog and
teaches during the photography courses. Apart from these activities she is currently working on a documentary series about the Kurdish community of Torino.
