I'm a Dutch photographer, based in Haarlem, Netherlands. I'm autodidact. Since I was 6 years old I knew I wanted to become a photographer. At the age of 16 I bought my first ‘real’ camera and just started to photograph streetlife and interesting people.
After my study I started to work as a photographer for one of Hollands biggest Publishing Companies VNU/ Sanoma Media. Since then I worked for many well-known Dutch Magazines and Getty Images. My work covers many areas, including reports, fashion, sports and portraits. I love to step in the different worlds that we live in and tell the stories by photo’s. In 2013 I was part of the Dutch ‘Alive” Exhibition during Photoville New York. In 2016 I published the book Capacity together with photographer Inge Hondebrink. Capacity showed the live of the athletes of the Dutch Parathletics Team, we followed them for one year on their way to the 2016 Rio Paralympics. www.capacity-book.nl
