my approach is to produce handprinted images where the compositional philosophy manifests itself in a reportage style, drawing from historical international rights work and interaction with different communities exploring issues of universality and the convergence of humanity in its different forms. My style is strongly influenced by an early passion for sketching and drawing. this advanced me to start expressing my vision through the camera in 2009. This draws upon classical aesthetics, such as ancient greek sculpture as well as impressionism and the pre-raphaelites. My artistic philosophy manifests itself in projects with a photojournalistic approach, whereby I captures the aesthetic in all its forms. This is brought to life by the use of obsolete positive and negative film and traditional darkroom printing techniques. My recent exhibitions demonstrate fluidity in both extreme convergence and divergence, demonstrating the notions of egalitarianism and universality.
