I was born into a family of artists who put me into the world of visual arts early in my childhood thanks to a culturally rich family environment, despite our very simple life.
In 2007, photography became my main work after several years of hobby, being added to my long-term professional involvement with many other artistic expressions, such as drawing, serigraphy, illustration, painting, interface and brand design.
With those great experiences, I have learned to understand the universe of visual expression and its great power. All of this was accompanied by a long, intense and also professional career in computer programming, which helped me to have a deep knowledge about the nature of the digital imagery.
To my students (I also lead a photography course) I always argue that photography is a powerful art that can work alone, but can be too more effective when mixed to diverse fields of knowledge, like philosophy and concepts of other visual and non-visual arts.
