I am an amateur photographer who works for the National Health Service in the UK as a Biomedical Scientist within Pathology.
My passion for photography spans over 40 years and I have been influenced by the work of many other photographers such as Michael Kenna, Trent Parke, Henri Cartier Bresson, Mark Power to name but a few. It is also fair to say that I like all visual arts and the great artist painters in particular Turner is a favourite. My early work tended towards landscape but over the last few years I have been drawn to life on the streets and the everyday possibilities of image making in different cities.
I am a member of a local print group which meets monthly and we produce all our own work in printed format for discussion and critique.
