Isabel Bonnet (France, 1997) is a communication science student at the University of Amsterdam. She has an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from the Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida.
In 2014, Isabel self-documented the protests in Venezuela through a blog in which she included pictures and testimonies of the events on a weekly basis. She worked at the Independent Florida Alligator as a photographer and photo editor, where she covered the 2016 Presidential elections in the US. In 2017, Alan Alvarez and Isabel won the second prize of the News Editor journalism contest for the "News Photography" section with their photo coverage of the Pulse aftermath in Orlando and Gainesville, Florida.
Her work has been published in major news outlets such as Ultimas Noticias (Venezuela), La Silla Vacia (Colombia) and Le Monde (France).
In 2018, Isabel founded the first student-run newspaper of Amsterdam, The Amsterdammer.
