My name is Isabel Bonnet and I'm a 19-year-old Santa Fe College journalism freshman. I'm currently working at the Independent Florida Alligator, the first student-run newspaper of the nation, as a Photo Editor.
French and Venezuelan, I have lived in France, Venezuela, the Ivory Coast and the United States and had the opportunity to travel in many countries. Indeed, I consider myself as a multicultural and open-to-the-world person. In addition, I am fluent in French, Spanish and English, and have done volunteering in Vietnam as a French Teacher and with children with disabilities, which enforced my ability to adapt myself to different environments and to control groups of people in order to achieve a common goal.
Alongside my courses, I've taken photography classes from 2011 to 2015 and have developed a curiosity about the world, especially by capturing political tensions in Venezuela and socioeconomic unequalities in the Ivory Coast.
Moreover, I hope to work and expand my knowledge in the multimedia field in order to work in an international news agency or magazine.
