Izabela Nowak is a Polish artist based in Warsaw. She is interested in human condition, escapism and time. She is searching for ambiguity and fleeting moments in an ordinary life. Through photography she explore her close surrounding as well as tests limits of photography itself.
She was successful in photography contests and took part in photography projects and group exhibitions during photography festivals and events like: Correspondance.World collaboration with Thomas Brown and The Photographers Gallery in London; Eyes on Main Street, Wilson Photo Festival, USA; Night Contact Project at Brighton Photo Biennial or Interphoto Bialystok in Poland.
Her self-made dummy book “running up that hill” was selected as one of the finalist and presented at Encontros da Imagem, dummy book award in Braga as well as shortlisted in Self Publish Riga Award, Latvia.
