In these times most working people are specialists. My hero is Leonardo, a generalist.
I have been a scientific observer, a renovator and stylist, a barrista, a gardener. At the same time, I am a husband, a father and a brother. All these identities together pour inspiration into my photography, which has always been my hobby and finally is my main occupation now. Underlying these interests is curiosity, a passion for experiment, a sense of quality and a search for style.
I do not follow trends. I let myself taken away easily by all that arouses my photographic curiosity and passion; the most intriguing alleys lead to further contemplated, longer term projects. Even then I continue to believe in Sontag’s adage that the greatest art seems secreted, not constructed.
