Jadranko is a Visual Artist with a background in Design and Visual Communications. In 2002, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts at the University of Zagreb (Croatia). He began shooting and acquired his first photography skills in his school labs during studies. That prompted him to buy Nikon FM2, his first camera. He has spent the last decade living and traveling in Europe, Australia and Asia, five years of which were spent in Shanghai, China. Currently he makes a living between Berlin and Shanghai as freelance photographer, designer and filmmaker. As a photographer, Jadranko works in the fields of portraiture, travel and documentary photography. He finds his inspiration in rapidly changing Chinese culture and his work is focused on humans and the influence of technology on rapid social change.
