I have been interested in photography since I can remember, but this interest became a passion when my grandfather passed down his camera equipment to me in the late 1990s.
Since then I became the youngest member of Princes Risborough Photographic Society in 2001 and won a few small local awards.
After a gap year travelling across the USA and visiting Morocco with my family, building up a large catalogue of travel images I then went on to study photography.
I gained a BA Honours Degree in Photography from the University of Gloucestershire, graduating in 2008.
After receiving my degree, I didn’t pursue photography as a career, but instead it continued as a passion shooting mini projects for myself. 10 years later with two significant Kit upgrades I still see photography as a constant source of inspiration and this has found it’s way into my work at a hostel in homeless charity St Mungo’s where I run a photo club helping the residents to learn about and utilise photography.
