Growing up in Byron Bay, Australia, I had plenty of beauty and special moments around me all the time. I had a video camera in my hands early on but it wasn't until I left Australia for the first time at the age of 18 on a journey that would turn into several years on the road that I decided I wanted to get myself a camera and document some of those unexpected in-betweens with a bit more intention. 12 years on, I've traveled more of the world than I even knew existed before setting off and with more and more appreciation for this journey I've lived every day. Photography makes me think and pay attention to my surrounding, to not be so focused on the end goal but to really enjoy the journey for what it is and being able to share that with people puts a big smile on my face at the end of the day.
