Jamie Riva graduated with a BFA in photography from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU in New York City where she currently resides with her husband and two children. Although she embarked on a different career path after graduating, Jamie never stopped taking pictures. After spending the past few years raising her two young children, she has decided to return to her first love, photography. After continuing her studies at the International Center of Photography School, Jamie began taking portraiture requests professionally in addition to pursuing her artistic personal projects. Jamie has participated in group shows such as “Metro Textures” which showcased street photography from around the globe, and an exhibition entitled “Cit.i.zen.ship: Reflections On Rights” which reflected on human rights and notions of citizenship. She was most recently selected as a finalist in the 2018 Voice Collection, and was featured in Click Magazine. Thank you for your time and consideration.
