Jarred Cynor has worked as a multimedia artist in various capacities. From commercial portraiture to conceptual art, his work has been shown locally.
After earning his Associate of fine Arts degree, Jarred continued his undergraduate work at New Mexico State University where he had worked in the mediums of printmaking and photography. He had developed a particular interest in historic and alternative photographic processes which informed his practice.
After graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in December of 2016, Jarred Applied himself in Public education, working in special education. He would continue his art practice while working for Ysleta Independent School District and he would practice metal casting. He would go on to show in various local art shows through the El Paso Art Association where he would win the Huthsteiner Fine Arts Trust award in 2018.
Jarred Cynor was accepted into the New Mexico State University Masters of Fine Arts program in 2019 and is currently still in the program. He is learning many different Mediums and techniques as his art practice continues to evolve and grow with in the graduate program.
