I first opened my photography studio in 1974, yes I’m that old! :) For nearly 3 decades I did all manner of portrait, wedding and advertising photography. Even though the studio was in a village of a town, it was rather successful and I drew clients from all over the region. A decade or so ago, as a single parent with one daughter working on her Masters Degree in Psychology and another just beginning college, I was in a rut and weary running a business every day, so on a whim, I started to college myself and got a degree in social work. I also sold the commercial location of the studio and moved everything into the 150+ year old house that it is in. In recent years I concentrate pretty much exclusively on fine art portraits of women. Many professional models come to me as well as women who have never posed in their life, all find it very rewarding to their self-esteem and confidence.
