Born in 1984 near Paris, Jeff Le Cardiet lived his early years on the island of Grande Comore. Coming from a family mix, what was at times a feeling of not belonging became a feeling of cultural richness, with the culture of the islands of Madagascar and Comoros on one side, and the western culture of France on the other.
Photography has never been far away from him, an artistic part, a sleeping curiosity that woke up when he was thirty. The trigger was a personal quest in Ethiopia in early 2016. After several training modules at Louis Lumière, ENSP Arles and Gobelins, Jeff put his knowledge into practice to reveal what surrounds him, to confront the unexpected, to exchange on the field, then to fix the moment to share his eye and his experiences.
