As long as I can remember I have been obsessed with photographs. As a child I never read magazines for the written words, I read them for the photographs.
Photography discovered me when I was in high school. However, my earliest memory of a camera came a much younger age. My aunt gave me my first slr, a camera that I learned how to see then world around me. That camera became the device in which I built my foundation as a photographer on. Being a photographer was the only thing I wanted to become when I was a teenager. I took a few years off from college to find myself. When I went back to school, I made the best decision of my life, major in photography.
Photography has given me an identity, a platform, and a voice to communicate with.
