I fell in love with black and white photography when I was 13 years old and bought my first print with my own money from New Mexico photographer, Butch Phillips. Coming from an art family of painters, singers, sculptors, and chefs, I knew the value of talent as well as hard work. Recognizing that my talent was not enough to make a living, I pursued a career in the museum field for more than 20 years while continually working on my photography craft. Living, coming to understand who I am as a person and my point-of-view through numerous experiences, helped me develop my craft. This is one of my first submissions and I will appreciate the reviews.
