I was born in St-Petersburg, Russia, in 1983 and was planning to become a neurophysiologist. But things did not come around as they were expected and I moved to Israel at the age of 20 and now I'm a freelance worker in different fields around theatre. Currently I work as general manager of a tiny Israeli fringe theatre company. I've been employed from time to time as theatre, props and puppets designer and art-constructor but mainly I create for my own pleasure and self-evolution. I've participated in 15 group exhibitions in Russia, Finland and Israel with my photos, dolls, paintings, and puppets. I started filming at the age of 9 when I've got my first Smena camera as a birthday present. I'm still faithful to black and white film and cannot switch to digital photography. I film, paint, make huge embroideries, illustrate, create dolls and puppets but the photography in my favorite medium although I've never used it for professional purposes.
