Jessica Sheila is a Canadian photographer working mostly in 35mm. Shooting everyday normalities, the people closest to her, and also working on creative collaborative projects which are mostly in the field of fashion story telling. She is often questioning human behaviours and wondering why humans do what they do. Drawn to ascetically specific and often rural and seemingly isolated city/landscapes, while her subjects tend to be faceless or unidentifiable. Light is always a key factor in the process of her image making. Life in itself astonishes her, which she thinks keeps her continually curious.
