In 2008, I completed a BA in photography at the University of the Arts (LCF). Since then, I have been working freelance as photography artist and picture editor; publishing and selling my work worldwide.
I have been living in Berlin, Germany since 2011.
Culture, social attitudes, diversity, individuality, and gender fluidity play a big role in my art. At different points of my life, I have seen first hand what it is like to live on many levels of the social spectrum. These experiences have greatly influenced my work. I like to concentrate on the individual in society. It is important to me that the subject has a voice within my art, in the form of expression, personal items, or personally chosen location. I stage this with flash, different colour gels and specially chosen backdrops, which I sometimes hand paint. I often manipulate the colours or saturation in postproduction.
