Born in a photographic family in Erdos, Inner Mongolia, Jinchen Chai spent his childhood reading photography books and magazines. Already at elementary school, he got his hand onto a camera and worked on prints of black and white. In 1998, he left his hometown to go Beijing to study Make up. The he started work as Photographer in a Jewelry Magazine and as a Make up Artist for TV. Since 2012, Jinchen Chai has been fully dedicated to photography.
